This church has been meeting together for awhile but this past year outgrew the home they were meeting in, moved to a community center room and have now outgrown that. While speaking all English, the members represent several people groups, as does the community they are located in. We will be assisting Pastor Jared in staffing an event he calls “Man UP Camp”. This event is for young fatherless boys ranging from 9- 18 years of age. They will learn basic building skills as well as basic car care during first part of the day, and then take part in some Bible Studies and worship events. Besides helping with the camp, we will be doing prayer walking, servant evangelism projects, as well as getting to see and experience the life and culture of Seattle. On a scale of 1-5 with one being easy, this trip will be a 3.5-4. People on this trip will be involved in activities that require general good health, sizable amounts of walking, a very fluid schedule, and the ability to adapt to a variety of learning and teaching needs.
