Mission:

To be a New Testament church that exists by the supremacy and sovereignty of Christ, to make disciples of Christ through the Gospel of Christ

Vision:

To define, unite, build, and shape a missional culture throughout our church community that's seeking to be "on mission" with God in obedience to the Holy Spirit, demonstrating tangibly and declaring creatively the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Purpose:

The sole purpose of this initiative is at the heart, a united church seeking to live out and accomplish the mission God has given our church. We recognize that God has not called us to accomplish this task alone. Jesus calls and causes His people to live in community; living, loving, and learning to do life together as we seek to live out the Gospel together. Living in this kind of community glorifies God, and will serve as our best witness to our unbelieving friends and family members. Becoming and living as a Gospel community, we can most effectively live out and achieve our mission together. The mission is to become Gospel-centered as individuals and as a missional community of faith because the Gospel stands at the center of God's redemptive plan for mankind.

We will seek to live out the Gospel in community, share the Gospel with our friends, neighbors, coworkers, and city. We want this to be a movement: that rapidly grows into a dynamic and spontaneous culture where every member is involved in our mission.

Our Motivation: To glorify God and build His kingdom

Biblical Mandate:

Psalm 150:6 - "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!"

Matthew 28:18-20 "18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Acts 1:7-8 7 "He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Philippians 2:10-11 "10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ isLord, to the glory of God the Father."

Acts 2:42-47 42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."
