As of September 1st, we have resumed our regular scheduled weekly calendar. However, we have implemented a number of new procedures and protocols to keep everyone safe. We are not passing an offering or communion plate, offering self-serve coffee, and we have disabled public water fountains. Also, we are keeping doors propped open and continue to rope off every other row. We encourage everyone to practice social distancing (4 chairs apart) in the worship center and to wear a mask. Volunteers in key areas such as children's check-in wear masks and gloves. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know by calling the office (316-262-1452) or sending us an email ( ).
Mask Policy: Immanuel is within the Wichita City Limits and we are therefore under the city-wide requirement to wear masks.
Minimum Contact Worship Available: Everyone has a different level or comfort with social interaction and everyone has unique health concerns. We realize that you may be concerned for your health as well as coming across as unfriendly. We're taking the awkwardness out for you by creating a special entrance and roped off seating area for those who want to be able to come in for worship but feel the need to practice stricter social distancing precautions. In this section, masks are required throughout the worship service and everyone understands that you need some personal space but still want to be part of our church and corporate worship experience. To use this entrance, you will enter on the far north side of the worship center and use the doors facing Lincoln Park. This area contains over 250 seats and is the back, right side of the worship center.
